Main Lodge

As you step into the Main Lodge, you're greeted by a warm lounge and dining area, a bar offering panoramic views of the African bush, and a deck overlooking a night-lit waterhole where the African Big Five frequently gather. Imagine the magic of this setting, complemented by a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a walk-in fridge. And if culinary delights are on your agenda, a chef can be arranged at your request.


The Main Lodge boasts three bedrooms with versatile king-size beds, convertible to twin rooms, and a family room with a queen-size bed and two singles – all with en-suite bathrooms.

Bush Villas

Lit walkways from the Main Lodge connect you to the two Private Villas, each offering a queen-sized bed, en-suite bathroom, and a private outdoor bath nestled among natural boulders beneath the African sky. Each villa has its own deck, perfect for enjoying morning coffee, equipped with an under-counter fridge and a stocked coffee station.

  • The exclusive use of the Main Lodge and Private Villas 

  • Exclusive access to the photography hide

  • Exclusive use to a 10-seater open game viewing vehicle, accompanied by an experienced guide, ready to facilitate exhilarating game drives and walking safaris

  • The refreshing swimming pool, inviting sun loungers, and open-air boma with an outside eating area.

  • Daily service of three staff for entire lodge and both villas.

  • Free Wifi

ADDITIONAL RATES INCLUDE:

  • An additional open game viewing vehicle and experienced guide can be arranged for additional space on game drives.

  • Although Klipspringer is a self-catering lodge, a personal chef can be arranged upon request. 

  • Elevate your adventure with a helicopter safari, witnessing the Selati Game Reserve from above. 

What to pack?

  • Comfortable walking shoes, especially if you are going to do a trail as one of your game activities;

  • Backpack to carry items when on drive or a walk/trail;

  • Sun hat

  • Sunglasses

  • Sunblock

  • Cameras and binoculars

  • Anti-malaria precautions (please consult your doctor / pharmacist)

  • Light, neutral coloured clothing

  • Swimming costume; and

  • Warm jackets for the winter months (May – October)

Booking Terms

Bookings:

To secure a booking we require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Payment of the balance of the booking must be made in full no less than 30 calendar days prior to arrival.

Where 12 guests or more are making a booking there is a 50% non-refundable deposit required.

 

Peak Season Terms and Conditions:

20 December until 5 January. All Bookings over Peak Season can only be secured once a 65% non-refundable deposit has been paid.

Cancellation Policy:

The cancellation of the booking is based on the total amount paid less the 50% non-refundable deposit.

> 30–15 days – 25% of full amount will be refunded

> 14 days or less –0% of full amount will be refunded

 

Arrival and Departure Times:

Guests may arrive any time from 14h00, and the lodge must be vacated by 10h00.

Please note that there is a 25% surcharge on late check-outs and early check-ins.
